Market town of Turnau introduces call taxi!

Cooperation with taxi company Gombotz is expanded:

From April 22, 2025 (Tuesday after Easter), a community taxi service will start in the market town of Turnau. "I am delighted that we have succeeded in this project with our long-standing and reliable partner Taxi Gombotz!" said Mayor LAbg. Stefan Hofer.

The service is as follows: Every Tuesday and Friday morning, the taxi picks up passengers from defined collection points in Unter-Au, Stübming and Thal and takes them to the center of Turnau. The return journey takes about 3 hours. Advance registration is required one day in advance at the citizens' office of the market town of Turnau.

"This offer is ideal for people who do not have their own car or a ride share, and is suitable for shopping appointments, doctor's visits, hairdresser appointments and restaurant visits. This will also liven up our town centre," explains Mayor Hofer, who is also planning a taxi for young people on weekends in the future.
