The atmospheric Advent market took place for the 19th time in the town center:

The "Hunting Advent" event, held for the 19th time in Turnau last weekend, was once again a resounding success. Top-notch musical groups, culinary delights, and exquisite craftsmanship contributed significantly to the authentic atmosphere and the lively public interest.

The official opening was conducted by Mayor Stefan Hofer, Deputy Mayor Berthold Strobl, District Hunting Masters Anton Karlon from Bruck and Hannes Fraiß from Mürzzuschlag, Jochen Jance (TV Hochsteiermark), and Anita Hörting (local branch manager of the Hunting Protection Association). Other honored guests included Deputy Mayor Monika Vukelic-Auer from Kapfenberg, Municipal Treasurer Stefan Höfler, Pastor Anthony Nwachukwu, and honorary citizens Heinz and Margarethe Reitbauer, as well as Franz Kroißenbrunner. The traditional visit from the Christ Child and Knecht Ruprecht was also a must this year.

“I would like to sincerely thank the organizing team and all those involved for making this event possible. It helps to uphold hunting culture,” said Mayor Hofer.
