Renewal of the fire department's vehicle fleet is fully completed:

During a small ceremony at the Turnau Volunteer Fire Department's fire station, the local fire brigade's new crew transport vehicle was officially put into service. Chief Fire Inspector Bernd Fladischer welcomed, among others, Mayor Stefan Hofer, Deputy Mayor Berthold Strobl, several town councilors, and representatives from the Diepold car dealership.

Since the old vehicle no longer met the technical requirements, a replacement had to be procured. “Safety is a top priority for us in the market town of Turnau. This new vehicle completes the modernization of our fire department fleet. Including the fire station, which was newly built in 2017, our fire department has state-of-the-art infrastructure for its vital work. Special thanks go to the local Diepold car dealership for their quick and uncomplicated support in acquiring the vehicle and carrying out the necessary modifications,” said Mayor Hofer.
